Rice Bros. Trucking Ltd.

Stacey and Jason Rice, brothers and owners, formed Rice Bros. Trucking Ltd. on January 1, 2006. Starting in the oilfield service sector, mainly moving blowback tanks, they expanded into pickers, specialty trucking, heavy hauls, rig moving, long-haul freight hauling and reefer loads. They have always been involved in the trucking industry and love it.
When the downturn hit in 2015, they began a freight side and have seen that division expand and grow. When operating at full capacity, they employ 50 people. They love being a part of a small community. Rice Bros. Trucking Ltd. Is community minded and has contributed to many local organizations and youth sports teams and events over the years. They’ve helped swampers obtain their Class 1 Drivers Licence and had apprentices for shop personnel and picker operators.
Throughout the pandemic, Rice Bros. Freight Division has been doing their part to keep supply chains maintained, while ensuring the safety of their drivers and customers. Their units have been traveling throughout North America, hauling Canadian meat and produce south of the border and bringing Mexican and American goods back. While the bulk of these shipments have involved transporting groceries for consumers, they’ve also had some unique and interesting loads.
