Learn about the businesses and opportunities that make up the Brooks Region.
The Brooks Region is readily accessible to Canada’s major east-west transport route (HWY 1 TransCanada), north via HWY 36 to connect the County to northern Alberta oilsands, and south via HWY 36 to the U.S. border.
We work closely with the Eastern Irrigation District who manage an extensive water distribution network in support of irrigated agriculture which also benefit municipal, industrial, wildlife habitat and recreation.
We get to the point so we can get things done. As prairie people, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We can take (and make) a joke. We are welcoming, friendly, and inviting.
This campaign promotes shopping local and helps raise the profile of local businesses in the region by creating awareness about the personal, community and economic benefits of choosing to shop local.
